AC Milan Prepare €53 Million Move for Rising Star Nicolo Tresoldi After Stunning Champions League Hat-Trick

Nicolo Tresoldi has emerged as one of the most talked-about young strikers in European football following a remarkable Champions League performance against Inter Milan. The 22-year-old Club Brugge forward scored a sensational hat-trick in a thrilling 4-3 victory at San Siro, immediately attracting attention from several major clubs. His impressive display has reportedly prompted AC Milan to accelerate their interest, with the Rossoneri viewing the Italian-German talent as a potential long-term addition to their attacking line-up.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is keen to bring Tresoldi to the club, potentially during the January transfer window or next summer. The Italian giants are reportedly prepared to use around €53 million to strengthen their pursuit of the striker. Milan also believe they could have an advantage because Tresoldi has admired the club since childhood. His personal connection to the Rossoneri could prove influential as he considers the next step in his career.
However, securing his signature will be far from straightforward. Arsenal, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and Inter Milan have all reportedly shown interest in monitoring the young forward. Club Brugge are also in a strong negotiating position, having set an asking price exceeding €50 million. The Belgian side previously rejected a reported €35 million offer from Roma in August, demonstrating their determination to retain one of their most valuable attacking assets.
Tresoldi’s performances have strengthened Brugge’s position in the transfer market. He has recorded 32 goals in 69 appearances for the Belgian club, while his contract runs until June 2029. Milan could nevertheless benefit from their positive relationship with Brugge, which was reinforced by the successful signing of Ardon Jashari in 2025. Support from Tresoldi’s family may also play a role in his decision, particularly given his father Emanuele’s connection to Italian football and the family’s longstanding admiration for Milan.
Beyond the transfer speculation, Tresoldi also faces an important decision regarding his international future. Eligible to represent both Italy and Germany, the young striker has yet to settle the question of which senior national team he will choose. His record of 16 goals in 27 appearances for Germany’s under-21 side and his contribution to their qualification for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship have further raised his profile. With his reputation growing rapidly, Tresoldi could become one of the most sought-after forwards in the upcoming transfer windows, although Milan will need to overcome strong competition and Club Brugge’s firm valuation to complete a deal.
